Soon after the wedding Casseil learned she was expecting.
Though I will be honest with a successful linage aspiration her expression was
not the one I was expecting!
The poor gal has been miserable with morning
sickness. It was instantaneous from the moment she knew she was pregnant and
has been pretty much a constant companion.
Already tired and miserable from a long day at work the
thought of dirty diapers and sour milk spit up has her tummy churning.
Trevor got to work on the house the very next day, and by
evening Casseil was making a special salad, with secret ingredient, for dinner
in her new kitchen. She looks pretty happy about it. It’s a small starter for
now. A single bedroom, half-finished bathroom and a main room that holds the
living-dining and kitchen. Only the floors are in, the wall coverings will have
to wait because they still want to have another room ready for their child, and
it needs to be ready on its birthday.
“Oh, this will be just the thing! My father told me a story
about trolls when I was a little girl, this will be a super special surprise
for Trevor.” Ewww. I hope he likes it. With no sink in the house yet, she did
NOT wash her hands!
Casseil knew that Trevor was a true troll the moment she
met him. Though the name was a pretty good give away, she remembered all the
wonderful stories her father used to tell of a special place called Moonlight
Falls. As a child she thought they were just stories her father had made up.
However, once she met Trevor, she knew that her father’s stories were all true.
How or even if her father had been to Moonlight Falls would remain a mystery,
but if Trevor was here there was a pretty important reason. One day she hoped
he would confide in her, but even if he didn’t she was determined to support
him no matter what.
“Yum! This is the best salad I’ve had in a long time. It’s
almost as good as mother used to make. What! Wait, I remember my mother’s
salads! *Sigh* I miss her, miss not remembering much about her.” His mother
loved to dig stuff out of her ear and toss with the salad at the last moment to
add a bit of something special to it. It is a troll delicacy that only the most
special sims even know of.
Trevor was ecstatic when Casseil told him the news. He
immediately started talking to his child. Though what he said Casseil didn’t
understand. She thinks it is a unique dialect of simlish, and probably his
native language, one she is sure he doesn’t even realize he has spoken. He was relieved
to know that even though his house was small, it was a sturdy home, and would
keep his treasures safe, Casseil and the baby.
Soon the day was upon them. Casseil couldn’t stop the cry
that escaped when an especially strong contraction hit her in the middle of the
night. Trevor Jumped out of bed in a panic!
"Oh, watcher! What do I do?"
"Cass, where is the hospital bag?”
"Sorry honey, I didn’t mean to wake you. That pain caught me
by surprise, but they aren’t close enough together to leave just yet."
Trevor tried to stay strong for Cass, but if truth be told,
she is his rock. Unable to sleep Casseil tried to get comfortable at the table
and eat something. Trevor stayed with her, he was amazed at how she was holding
up. She was certainly handling the contractions better than he was.
He was relieved
when she told him it was time to go. Having already had his pre-parental freak-out
he was pretty calm and collected as he followed her to the cab.
Meet little Noel. She is a lovely little girl that so far
takes after her father. How much like him is still unknown, but it didn’t
really matter. She was beautiful to him.
Oh my goshiness! Noel is adorable! :3 She's pretty green just like her Pops!
ReplyDeleteNoel was a wonderful baby! One of the easiest to care for that I've had in game so far.
